本人长期从事目标检测、计算机视觉、图像检索 、机器学习等人工智能相关领域研究，已在ICCV、CVPR、AAAI、ACM MM、ICLR、TPAMI、TMM、TNNLS和PR等人工智能国际顶会和顶刊发表论文30余篇，获批国家发明专利8件。主持研究国家自然科学基金面上项目、教育部协同育人创新项目、福建省自然基金项目和多项企业横向课题等科研项目。研究成果先后获得过福建省科技进步二等奖、福建省科技进步一等奖和厦门市科技进步一等奖。
