Dr. Yang Guoge's research focuses on macroeconomic policy, economic growth, and sustainable development, with a particular expertise in employing big data and econometric methods to deeply investigate how macro policies influence corporate innovation and digital transformation. Dr. Yang is an active scholar in the fields of the digital economy and innovation studies. He has published over 20 papers as an independent, first, or corresponding author in leading domestic and international journals such as Statistical Research , Industrial Economics Research, and Technology Analysis & Strategic Management. His research has garnered significant academic and policy recognition; one of his papers has been fully reprinted by Renmin University's "Information Center for Social Sciences", and his findings have been adopted by China's National Bureau of Statistics, providing valuable references for policy formulation. Furthermore, he serves as a Guest Editor for the journal Energy, Sustainability and Society and has been a long-term peer reviewer for prestigious international journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change.He recently completed a term as a Visiting Scholar at Monash University in Australia, during which he collaborated with Professor Paulo Santos on research examining the comparative effectiveness of infrastructure versus skills training in e-commerce poverty alleviation from the dual perspectives of income and inequality. Prior to his full-time academic career, Dr. Yang accumulated valuable industry experience: he served as a full-time Lecturer at Guangdong University of Technology; earlier, as the Founder of Shanghai Weicheng Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., he personally managed e-commerce operations and developed training programs—experience that provides him with profound and unique insights into the practical challenges faced by digital enterprises. Currently, his work is dedicated to exploring the intrinsic mechanisms and strategic responses related to digital technology innovation, the integration of the real economy with the digital economy, and the drivers of sustainable economic development.
