Dr. Huanjun Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics from Monash University, Australia. She is currently an Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE), the Department of Statistics and Data Science, School of Economics, and the Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research, Xiamen University. Her research interests lie in econometric theory and its applications. She has published papers in leading domestic and international academic journals, including the Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Econometrics Journal, and Journal of Financial Research. She has served as Principal Investigator for multiple research grants, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Fund, and the Fujian Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
She is actively involved in organizing various domestic and international conferences in statistics, as well as econometrics summer schools. She contributes to the undergraduate teaching of Econometrics, which has been recognized as a National First-Class Undergraduate Course. She has also participated in the compilation of an econometrics textbook for the Ministry of Education's “101 Plan” and was awarded the Third Prize at the 4th Fujian Provincial University Teaching Innovation Competition.
