Xiang Liqun
Profile
MORE+Dr. Liqun Xiang obtained her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology and her Doctor of Philosophy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is now working as an assistant professor in the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Xiamen University.
Dr Xiang is responsible for undergraduate courses, including Fundamentals of Architectural Design, Building Act and Regulations, and Analytical Writing. Her research interests include age-friendly communities and accessible environments, architectural programming, post-occupancy evaluation (POE), and cross-border collaboration for the construction industry.
Over the past five years, Dr. Xiang has led or participated in more than ten research and practical projects. She has published related papers in prestigious journals in architecture, construction management, and gerontology, including Habitat International, The Gerontologist, and Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. She currently serves as a co-editor of the Journal of Global Ageing.
