I'm an associate professor and doctoral advisor at the Department of Economics, School of Economics, Xiamen University and the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics. My main research areas are economic history and development economics. I have published a number of papers in academic journals such as Economic Research, China Economic Quarterly, Studies in Chinese Economic History, The Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Health Economics. I have served as a reviewer for International Economic Review, Health Economics and other journals.
