Profile
MORE+I am an Associate Professor at the School of Sociology and Anthropology, Xiamen University. I received my Ph.D. in Anthropology from Sun Yat-sen University. I previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Sociology, Nankai University (2021–2025) and was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Anthropology at Indiana University Bloomington (2018–2019).
My research focuses on development anthropology, the sociology of philanthropy, and the anthropology of education. I have led several research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund of China. My work has been published in journals such as Sociological Studies, Journalism Research, Youth Studies, and Habitat International.
I previously served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Philanthropic Studies and currently serve as Deputy Secretary-General of the Section on Philanthropy Studies of the Chinese Sociological Association, as well as the Service-Learning Committee of the China Association for Social Work Education.
